Records from another country .That whole.."the grass is greener on the other side" concept. There was something cool about having a record from overseas...From my perspective, imports records equaled records from England.. The sleeves on English singles were made from a stronger quality of paper..sometimes even cardboard...what kind of madness is this ??!!..and sometimes the singles did not have the tradition space in the middle..that hole where the 45-adapter went......some import singles had the small hole in the middle that 33 1/3 albums had?...more insanity!
I always loved the Elton John intro on this live track..the crowd goes ballistic..It's a Beatle!! "It's our great privilege and your great privilege ..to see and hear...Mr John Lennon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
